OAMPS agree to become Event Sponsor and Insurance Manager for UK and Ireland Spill Association
OAMPS specialist insurance advisors to the hazardous fuels and environmental industry have agreed to become Event Sponsor and Insurance Manager to the UK and Ireland Spill Association for the next 12 months.
Following its merger with International Spill Accreditation Scheme in September the Association is growing and seeks to place pollution response higher up the public agenda. In this way, Government, Regulators, Insurers and members of the public are more aware of what happens when incidents occur and the skills and expertise required to safely manage complex pollution incidents.
Lee Barber, Chair of UK and Ireland Spill Association commented:
OAMPS are aware of the complexity of the incidents our members are trained and accredited to manage safely with protection of health and the environment as the highest priorities. We are keen to ensure that all are aware of the high standard work our corporate and accredited members do every time they attend a pollution incident. OAMPS sponsorship of our events will assist us through funding, access to venues and their experience in the Insurance industry in which they are highly respected.
Adam Jefras, Managing Director, OAMPS Hazardous Industries commented:
OAMPS are corporate members of the Association and have supported its activities in the past. We are delighted with its exciting events plan and its goal of making people aware of the complex technical and often hazardous works its members do many of whom we insure. We are therefore delighted to assist by becoming their Event Sponsor and supporting them with access to our venues, our network and our experience.
The sponsorship commences 1 December and will run for 12 months.
